Singapore Grand Prix 2019 Weather Predictions

The European leg of the Formula One season is finally complete, leading to the Asian leg. Ringing in this leg is the Singapore Grand Prix 2019 at the Marina Bay Street circuit. Last time around, Charles LeClerc delighted the tifosi with a win in Monza, the Temple of Speed.

Now, in the coming weekend, Formula One fans are excited for the Singapore Grand Prix 2019. Heading into this weekend, Ferrari will be in high spirits after their win in Belgium and Italy. So, the team will be aiming to keep up the momentum, especially at a track where they won in 2010 and 2015.

With regard to the Singapore Grand Prix 2019 weather conditions, fans will be glad to know that it will be dry throughout the weekend. However, on Friday, one can expect cloudy weather with cooler temperatures.

It is only from Saturday onwards that the conditions will be much warmer. Throughout the weekend, the temperature will range between 27° C and 30° C, so the chances that it could affect tyre wear.

With regard to the tyre allocation, there was a lot of contrast of choices between teams. In terms of soft tyre allocation, the Red Bull duo have opted for 10 sets of red walled soft tyres. Ferrari have elected for nine sets of softs and Mercedes have taken 8 sets.

Ferrari and Mercedes also mirrored each other for the yellow walled soft tyres, taking 3 sets each. Meanwhile, Red Bull have only a single set of softs each, which could mean that they are opting for an aggressive strategy.

In the white walled hard tyre department, Ferrari took one set, which the Mercs and the Bulls have two sets each.

It was also worth noting that the Williams team, have the fewest sets of soft tyres, taking 7. Meanwhile, they stocked up heavily on medium tyres, with Kubica taking 5 and Russell taking 4. Russell also has two sets of hard tyres available to him, while Kubica has one.

However, it is fair to say that Williams have nothing to lose and have the freedom to experiment with bizarre strategies to see how far it takes them
