Soccer fans have been yearning for a decent alternative to EAFC24. The game has established a solid monopoly over the soccer video game market. However, it seems like EA could receive a new competitor in the coming months. Cristiano Ronaldo has partnered up with Strikerz Inc.-led UFL, with the game aiming to bring a fresh experience for fans.

Over the years, EA has dominated the soccer video game landscape with its flagship FIFA franchise. However, the gaming giant severed ties with FIFA this year, releasing their standalone title, EAFC24. The game has been a big hit, but it seems like the title could receive some serious competition in the coming months.

Game developer Strikerz Inc. will launch its new soccer title UFL in the coming months. The game has already received a massive boost, with Cristiano Ronaldo joining their ranks as a key investor. However, the Al Nassr skipper’s participation isn’t enough to drive fans to the game. The developers are well aware of this fact and are set to bring some interesting changes to the game.

UFL is going to be a completely free-to-play (F2P) game, with the creators labeling it as a skill-based title. This is already massive news for fans as other options such as EAFC24 cost $70 just for the standard edition of the game. Apart from the price, the game has already secured key licensing agreements with top clubs around the world, which will allow them to use players to its full potential.

Cristiano Ronaldo joins the UFL’s core investor group

The Al Nassr skipper, who is more than likely to feature as the cover star for the game, has also joined the game as a key investor. The player talked about his excitement to join UFL in a recent statement issued by the company.

Cristiano stated, “I’m thrilled to be a part of this project, as UFL can become the new breed in football gaming.”
