To celebrate the launch, Victoria Beckham devised a collection dedicated to Shaquille O’Neal which she announced with the basketball legend himself. This move was a nod to Reebok’s ’90s heritage, which was dominated by Shaq’s influence. The unexpected duo came together as they posed in the merch on a basketball court.

The collection showcased tracksuits, sneakers, and t-shirts which all share an O’Neal theme to it. What stands out about this partnership between Victoria and Reebok is the juxtaposition between her and her husband’s relationship with the rival brand, Adidas.

David Beckham signed one of the most lucrative sports deals ever with the sportswear brand, Adidas in 2003. It was a record-breaking $160.8 million deal that marked the pinnacle of his career. Despite the longevity of David Beckham’s Adidas Deal, Victoria Beckham entered enemy territory in 2018.

But while the Adidas’ Beckham deal is still in progress, no one thought that Victoria would be the one to partner up with Reebok and go against her husband in the competitive sports brand market. Nevertheless, Victoria Beckham stood by her decision and took Shaquille on her adventure to Reebok.

Despite this, both Beckhams have kept their professional life separate from their private life. Even in 2023 after more than two decades of being together, the couple is still going strong. David and Victoria Beckham truly have become an iconic and inspirational couple with their ambition and determined attitude.
