And it is not only the ever-famous mother who became a fan. Weeks ago, her sons Milan and Sasha also made an appearance at a Heat game in the NBA.

Currently, Shakira is spending time in her hometown in Colombia. She is accompanying her father who has reportedly had an important surgery for his brain injury. Hours before traveling, the Waka–Waka singer decided to hopefully witness Butler’s magic one last time this season. But his team turned out to be far from the best team on that day.

Shakira witnesses Heat’s disappointing display before traveling to Colombia

The last time Shakira made an NBA appearance was during the last round. She witnessed the Heat’s Game 4 against the Boston Celtics. But that game turned out to be the start of an embarrassing losing streak against the Celtics. Luckily, they scraped through to the finals. But things aren’t going well! Currently, Butler and his team are trailing by a 3-1 deficit.

The Waka–Waka singer had turned up for Game 3 of the final series. But Butler’s 28-pointer wasn’t enough to surpass the likes of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic. After witnessing a disappointing 94 – 109 scoreline, the singer flew back to her home country. Reportedly, her father underwent surgery at the Serena del Mar Hospital in Cartagena de Indias. The medical team of the Santa de Foundation will take care of him.
