This year’s EA Sports FC 24 launch brought a shockwave through the gaming community as Cristiano Ronaldo received an unexpected blow. The Portuguese legend, who had consistently held top ratings alongside Lionel Messi in previous FIFA editions, was handed a low overall rating. It is his lowest rating since 2007.

Now, seemingly disappointed by his EAFC 24 stats, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to side with a rival game. Who has Cristiano Ronaldo decided to join as an ambassador?

As gamers and soccer enthusiasts alike debated the controversial ratings in EAFC 24, a rival soccer game development firm dropped a bombshell announcement that has sent shockwaves through the gaming world. A new console-based soccer game, UFL – short form for Ultimate Football League, has announced that Cristiano Ronaldo has joined forces with them. But why did he choose the UFL?

The main thing that attracted the soccer player to the UFL is its commitment to being completely free-to-play, unlike EAFC24. It offers a fair-to-play experience and focuses on skill rather than pay-to-win options.

Developed by Strikerz Inc., UFL is poised to take on the giants of the soccer gaming industry, including EA Sports EAFC 24 and Konami’s eFootball (formerly known as PES). However, there’s one question on every gamer’s mind: When will UFL officially launch? Cristiano Ronaldo’s shockingly low rating in EAFC 24

After EA Sports revealed the ratings of the top players across the globe prior to the release of the game, fans and even experts were left shocked after witnessing Cristiano Ronaldo’s OVR. In an exclusive video with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, when he was asked about the player after the stats were revealed to him, he was left shocked. Henry said, “No! that’s not him. Wow! That’s bad.” Cristiano Ronaldo was given an overall rating of 86, which is his lowest since 2007.

This rating was met with shock. Although his rival, Lionel Messi‘s rating dropped as well, he still sits at the OVR of 90. These latest ratings mark the end of a long dominance with Ronaldo and Messi absent from the top positions.

Ronaldo’s rating in EA FIFA 23 was 90. Could his Saudi move have led to lower ratings?
