The green grass has withered away, and Manchester United is looking for a new refreshing season. The forts of Old Trafford look shaken. Neither the players nor fans seem to get any understanding of what’s happening. From losing matches to suspending players, Manchester United has suffered some harsh criticism. This time it is Jadon Sancho in the news who was believed to be enjoying a popular game.

The Red Devils are passing through an enormous storm which has currently put them in an immobile state. Seemingly, the team has not been able to settle with repeated changes in the coaching staff. Although the club won the Carabao Cup earlier this year, it is still in search of that major trophy they haven’t won in years. Their coach Erik ten Hag’s bluntness with the media is not helping either.

After Manchester United’s shaky start to the 2023-24 season, Erik ten Hag has already fallen out with his winger, Jadon Sancho. In an earlier interview, Ten Hag called out Sancho for not training well during the team sessions. Following a bitter war of emotions, neither Sancho nor ten Hag seem to be able to get things in control. With Sancho off the group, the fanbase was stunned after a recent screenshot went viral.

Amid United’s 3-4 loss to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, Sancho was spotted enjoying FIFA Club Pro. Sancho was asked to train outside of the first squad after ten Hag’s criticism. The 23-year-old hit back at the Dutchman, claiming that he was completely untrue about his claim. Sancho felt that he was being made a scapegoat for a long time.

Recent news also stated that the whole of United’s locker room is also not ready to be with the star. Sancho has never been a regular starter for Manchester United for the past two years. The forward was bought for a jaw-dropping fee from Borussia Dortmund in 2021. What exactly happened between the Englishman and the Glazers-led club? Let’s dive deeper.

Old Trafford has been on the receiving end since last year when Cristiano Ronaldo called them out for their stagnant nature. Sancho made a similar blame on United, saying that they have double standards. He accused the club of being biased toward different players during their training sessions and Sancho felt that only he was being targeted.

The issue seemed to have started a year ago. The Manchester United coach accused Jadon Sancho of not being punctual, and the rest of the coaching staff were seeing a player they didn’t expect. Sancho has only scored 12 goals for United since his arrival, not meeting the expectations of the club.

Erik ten Hag has always given the explanation that the ‘team comes first’ for every issue. With the forward not training with the main team, reports suggest that Manchester United could be looking at the January window to let him off. Looks like a lot of players have come under ten Hag’s radar and the club is also giving him the liberty to send them away. What do you think about this? Let us know in the comments below.
