Cristiano Ronaldo’s second stint with the Red Devils should have ended in a better way. However, this does not change the fact that many players at the club still have nothing but utmost respect and admiration for the former red devil. One of them is goalkeeper Tom Heaton. In a podcast with the club on getting asked the G.O.A.T, he immediately answered Cristiano Ronaldo. He further said, “Having been here with him the first time and then seeing how he improved, how he got better and made himself into the best player in the world. I’d just signed by the time he came back for his second stint, and seeing the same drive, hunger, being first in the gym, same appetite to work for me keeps him at that level. What he’s achieved has been incredible.”

The Portuguese star has aged like a fine wine. He has scored over 400 goals since turning 30, which is more than what some of the greatest strikers like Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba, Carlos Tevez, Van Persie and more have scored throughout their entire careers! There are times when he performs better than the players that are half his age. The drive and hunger to do better helped the 38-year-old win trophies with the Red Devils in his first stint.
