Cristiano Ronaldo is having a good time with Al Nassr in the Saudi League. Al Nassr is also fiercely competitive in the league and the AFC Champions League. However, it looks like the soccer veteran’s teammate is caught in an issue that the Saudi-based club has raised with the league officials. This is after the Al Nassr player got offered luxury items and millions from a rival enticing him for a move.
This does not look good for the reputation of the Saudi Pro League. The League needs to be aware of the fact that after the investments and the superstar signings, soccer fans are keeping a close eye on their on-field and off-the-field activities.

Al Nassr reports rivals of trying to poach their player wrongly
The Saudi Pro League is now one of the most viewed leagues. This is after their superstar signings like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Benzema, and others this summer transfer window. The league is also doing well in relation to increased sponsorships from all over the world. But, it looks like the league is dealing with an off-the-field controversy related to Al Nassr regarding a possible outgoing transfer of one player.
According to reports, the Al Nassr ownership has accused a rival club of trying to sign their player Abdulelah Al-Amri in an irregular manner. They have also accused the rival club of offering a $32 million annual salary, a villa, and a car to the soccer star. Al-Nassr did not find this approach too satisfactory and was quick to go to the organizers and escalate the issue.

The focus is set for Cristiano Ronaldo and Co.
These types of controversies sometimes have an impact on the team’s performance. However, this is not the case for Al Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo. Al Nassr is currently 3rd on the Saudi Pro League table after their win against Damac. They were trailing 1-0 in the first half. But the quick goals early in the second half from Cristiano Ronaldo and Talisca were enough for the win. Al Nassr is only one point behind second-placed Al-Taawoun.
Al Nassr’s star player Cristiano Ronaldo is also in brilliant form again this season. He has scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists in only 9 games of the Saudi Pro League. The good news for Al Nassr is that Ronaldo is better than ever. He has also debunked all the other transfer rumors related to his outgoing. He has made it clear that he would love to play the rest of his playing career in Saudi Arabia for Al-Nassr.
