Just yesterday, the fanbase witnessed legends from the soccer universe come together and play the Game4Ukraine. A charity match that would help to raise funds for the reconstruction of a school in Ukraine that was destroyed by a missile attack. Gerard Pique was among the big names to feature in the game. He played his first soccer match after months while his two kids supported him from the stands in the absence of Shakira.

From the looks of it, the soccer veteran had no choice but to get his kids for the soccer match. Mainly because Shakira was previously extremely upset with the former Barcelona man and his handling of their kids.

Game4Ukraine was a charity match to raise money for an important cause. As a result of the Russo-Ukrainian war, a lot of Ukraine’s infrastructure has sustained damage. Several renowned soccer stars were part of Team Zinchenko and Team Shevchenko for the charity game. Along with massive soccer names like Robert Pires and Per Mertesacker, even a few celebrities were part of the squads.

The Kings League owner also received an invite and gladly accepted it. He sported the blue jersey and stepped onto a soccer pitch as a player after many months. Before the game, the paparazzi pictured the soccer veteran exiting his vehicle with his children. From the looks of it, Milan and Sasha supported their dad all by themselves from the stands. They’re spending the last part of their summer break with their dad.

The question is that why would Pique leave his kids alone in the stands? Couldn’t he get his girlfriend or his mother along? Or couldn’t he just leave Milan and Sasha at their grandparent’s home? Sadly, if Pique wanted to take part in the game, he couldn’t do any of the above. His ex-girlfriend Shakira has reportedly laid down severe restrictions on him. Let’s dive deeper.

Since the beginning,  Shakira doesn’t want her kids to meet Clara Chia Marti. The Latin American singer has a clause in place to keep them away from each other. Recently, a few other issues came to the forefront too. The Waka-Waka singer reportedly did not like it when the kids stayed at Pique’s parent’s home, as the separation agreement does not allow it.

The Colombian icon would seemingly have the kids return back to Miami if Pique is too busy. She seemed quite serious about the situation and seemingly wanted Pique to take up some responsibility and strictly abide by the conditions. Weeks ago, a report claimed that she was upset and disappointed with the FC Barcelona legend’s efforts, as Milan and Sasha have spent more than sixty hours traveling to and fro during their summer break.
