Now, the Manchester United icon has publicly wished a renowned pop star and his close friend, whom he deems as his ‘brother,’ his birthday. This comes shortly after Beckham surprised the pop icon with his Hollywood Walk Of Fame induction.

Marc Antony is a singer-songwriter and actor, who is worth a reported $80 million. Antony received his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame earlier this month becoming the 2,762 star to feature on the famous strip in Los Angeles. The 55-year-old singer who shot to fame in the 90s, has also won 4 Grammy Awards and is perhaps one of the most prominent Latin singers of his generation.

David Beckham wishes ‘brother’ Marc Antony on his birthday after Hollywood Walk Of Fame induction

Beckham and Marc Antony are pretty close friends. The Latin singer is Beckham’s son Cruz Beckham’s godfather. Now, taking to Instagram, Becks has wished his ‘brother’ Marc Antony in a story on his official account.

Beckham’s story on his Instagram account has a picture of him and Antony sitting and sharing smiles, along with a 6-word message that reads: “Once a brother always a brother”. This was to commemorate Antony’s 55th birthday on September 16th.

Beckham’s story comes shortly after the Inter Miami owner made a post on Instagram congratulating Antony on his Hollywood Walk Of Fame achievement. The post read: “So proud of my brother another incredible achievement and so well deserved ⭐️ Honoured to be there for you 🩷 Love you man @marcanthony ⭐️”

It seems like Beckham and Antony share a close, almost brother-like bond with each other. Beckham is probably a huge music fan, especially considering his wife Victoria’s exploits as a pop star and music icon during her stint with the Spice Girls. But the support that the two friends show each other is certainly something.

Beckham is full of praise for Marc Antony

Beckham recently spoke to the media regarding Marc Antony’s new star on Hollywood Boulevard. As per the Evening Standard, the former Three Lions captain said, “It is only right that we are here to see his work celebrated with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.”

“Marc has achieved so much, but I know that he’s only just getting started. His passion for music gets stronger. He inspires me with his drive, his energy, and his incredible work ethic. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this recognition,” he added.

Beckham further added, “Marc, we love you. Never change. Never change because you are truly a special talent, but you are even more a special person. Enjoy this moment because you have earned all of the love and respect that you feel here today.”
