The soccer world just witnessed an epic clash between Al Nassr and Al Hilal. However, the match did not unfold according to Cristiano Ronaldo and his team’s plans. Instead, it was Aleksandar Mitrovic of Al Hilal who stole the spotlight. Not only that, Ronaldo also had to endure the unexpected taunts from Al Hilal fans, who chanted the name of his arch-rival, Lionel Messi.

The match between these Saudi rivals ended in a resounding 3-0 victory for Al Hilal, leaving Al Nassr and Ronaldo devastated. Mitrovic, with his exceptional performance, scored two goals, while CR7 had a rather quiet game in comparison.

Mitrovic’s first goal came from a corner, with the Serbian striker powerfully heading the ball into the net. Astonishingly, it was Cristiano Ronaldo himself who was tasked with marking the Serbian striker, only to be outplayed by the sheer brilliance of Mitrovic. It was following this moment that Al Hilal supporters seized the opportunity to taunt Ronaldo. They began chanting the name of his biggest rival, Lionel Messi, much to the astonishment of the onlookers.

A video capturing the moment has hit social media, showing the Al Hilal fans chanting, “Messi, Messi” in front of  CR7. However, the humiliation didn’t stop there, for Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr.

Just minutes later, Mitrovic showcased his skill once again, scoring a second goal to seal an impressive 3-0 victory for his team. The Al Hilal fans erupted in jubilation, basking in their team’s dominance and reveling in Ronaldo’s apparent subjugation. What is also interesting is that this is not the first occasion in which the esteemed Portuguese striker has been subjected to chants of Lionel Messi.

In a game similar to Al Nassr’s match against Al Hilal, they faced a similar situation against Al Ittihad in October. During the warm-up and even after the game, Cristiano Ronaldo was drowned by the chants of Lionel Messi from the home fans.
