The Saudi League clubs are being backed to spend huge money on transfers again. However, to spend, they will have to first sell players that are already in the squad. One team that is making the plan to sell is Al Nassr. According to Rudy Galetti, the Knights of Najd want to sell star midfielder Seko Fofana in the January transfer window. The club is also willing to send him on loan and pay half of his salary. Hence, the 28-year midfielder is also already attracting interest from three clubs.

However, should any club want the Al Nassr midfielder on a permanent deal, it will be interesting to see what fee the club demands. But, the interest is good news for the Knights of Najd and Cristiano Ronaldo. This is the Portuguese forward is hoping to convince his former Manchester United teammate Casemiro to join the club. Rudy Galetti had also recently suggested that Casemiro’s agent has proposed a move to Al Nassr. When Casemiro signed for the Red Devils, he seemed like the answer to their midfield woes, cementing his place in their midfield as a defensive midfielder. While he hit the ground running, his run was hampered by a couple of red cards and injuries. While he is set to return soon, his time at the theatre of Dreams could soon come to an end. The pair won 11 trophies together at Real Madrid, including 4 Champions League titles and a La Liga title. They also briefly reunited at Manchester United before Ronaldo’s controversial departure. Now they could reunite yet again.

It will be interesting to see what transfer fee the Red Devils demand for him. As far as Seko Fofana is concerned, the midfielder has made some statements about his future that are going to contribute to his exit.

It is not the first time the 28-year-old midfielder has been linked to an exit. His future has been in the news when he was not getting enough game time at the start of the season. In an interview, Seko Fofana also said that he could play Champions League football even after the next five years. This was when everyone thought his future with the Knights of Najd was secure.

However, recent reports indicate that they are offering the Ivory Coast midfielder and a fee of $11 million to Al Shadab for the Saudi star Moteb Al-Harbi. But, a separate sale of the midfielder for a bigger transfer fee is also not ruled out.
