Once again, he has disclosed his goal of emulating the Portuguese soccer icon, but this time it escalated tensions within the Argentine national team regarding Garnacho’s preference for CR7.

Garnacho admits to not seeing anyone like his ‘role model’ Cristiano Ronaldo

During a recent interview, the 19-year-old shared his thoughts on Cristiano Ronaldo, with whom he had the opportunity to play alongside at Manchester United before the 38-year-old departed for Saudi. Garnacho candidly expressed, “I have always seen Cristiano Ronaldo as my role model, I have never seen a player like him in my life. I want to be like him.” This admiration is not new, as the Argentine forward has always been a devoted fanboy of CR7. Garnacho aspires to emulate Ronaldo’s success and skill on the field, as evidenced by the scenes of his remarkable match against Everton a few weeks ago.
