Amid Public Feud With Gerard Pique, Shakira Faces Huge Health Emergency as Mother Hospitalized Months After Father’s ‘Bad Fall’

It seems like the feud between Shakira and Gerard Pique is never-ending. Ever since Shakira dropped the track with the ‘Argentine god’ Bizarrap, things have gone south. Amid the diss track fiasco, Shakira just got the news of a major health emergency in her family. It is very reminiscent of the fall her father suffered last year. The Columbian singer took to her social media platforms to inform fans about her father’s health.

In June 2022, Shakira posted a picture with her dad on social media. She wrote, “I just wanted to let you know that those photos are from last weekend (the 28th) when my dad, unfortunately, had a bad fall and I accompanied him in an ambulance to the hospital where he is recovering now.”

This health blow came during a very public back and forth after she parted ways with the former Spanish soccer player. At that time, it looked like a peaceful separation, which, over time, has turned very sour.

Shakira faced a family medical emergency

The Spanish media outlet, El Heraldo, recently reported that Shakira’s mom faced a huge medical emergency. Although Shakira has yet to speak on this matter, the reports are that her mother got hospitalized due to an urgent condition. According to reports, Nidia del Carmen Ripoli went to a hospital in Barcelona to have some medical checkups.

El Heraldo reported that Shakira’s mother had a blood clot in her leg, creating a sense of urgency. She is suffering from thrombosis, and doctors did various medical tests to ensure she is out of danger. A source close to Shakira’s family informed that Ripoli is out of danger now and she is back home.

Just days after dropping a bombshell of a track on Pique, Shakira planted a laughing, lifesize witch doll on her balcony overlooking the house of her ex’s mother. It gained a lot of attention in media outlets and, overnight, became a viral piece of news. However, after being there for multiple weeks, Shakira took it down.

A couple of weeks back, fans saw that she placed a bigger and scarier witch doll right where the previous one was. It may be a clap back from Shakira as it was revealed that Pique’s mother helped him hide his affair with Clara Chia Marti from Shakira as she wept and mourned the breakup.
