Amidst Shakira’s Messy Public Feud With Gerard Pique, Karol G Threw Limelight on Upcoming Diss Track With Popstar- “She’s Always Evolving”

Shakira fans literally cannot wait for her new diss track. Earlier this month, Karol G, a Colombian singer told the fans about her upcoming collaboration with the Grammy Award winner. Shakira had to release her new track with Karol G much earlier this month.

However, the Colombian duo had to postpone their track’s release due to the overwhelming response that her collaboration with Bizarrap garnered. Recently, Karol G revealed that the song will be unveiled to the world on 24 February, at the stroke of midnight.

In a recent interview, she also spoke about her overall experience with the Grammy Award winner.

Karol G speaks about the time she spent with Shakira!

Whilst in conversation with Variety, Shakira’s fellow Colombian star spoke about what Shakira told her initially before the collaboration. Karol G told Variety, “She [Shakira] told me ‘This is my way of sharing what I’ve lived through. I don’t talk about it in interviews — art is how I express myself as a woman’”. Karol G completely resonated with her situation and accepted the offer immediately.

She continued, “I was like, ‘Let me roll up my sleeves, and we’ll go at it together’”. Karol G claimed that she had a hunch that Shakira would be up for a collaboration after reading the unfinished lyrics. She quoted, “Knowing Shakira’s situation, I thought this might be the song she would resonate with”.

Karol G then concluded her segment about Shakira by genuinely revealing her admiration and respect for her. She revealed that the 46-year-old plans for the future well in advance. She concluded by saying, “And she’s so intentional — she’s in an album process every day. Last I heard she was going to put out her album [last] November but she’s always evolving, changing things”.

Even if there was no diss track, the fans would undeniably still be on Shakira’s side.

Her biggest moment of popularity was back in 2010 when sang one of the official songs of the FIFA World Cup. Since then, her fans have pretty much got her back for anything and everything. The Waka-Waka singer has always been absolutely transparent with her fans. That’s one of the main reasons why they’ve still stuck with her amidst her messy breakup.

In the last few weeks, Shakira’s fans have made Gerard Pique’s public image a joke. The FC Barcelona defender has struggled to commute in Barcelona because of the fans. The soccer legend once had to leave an NBA game because everyone around him started singing Shakira’s diss track. With the new diss track coming up in a few hours, it remains to be seen how Gerard Pique ultimately deals with the public uproar again.
