Cristiano Ronaldo netted 27 goals in 54 games during his second stint with Manchester United. He was utilized as a substitute or subbed out during the latter half despite several such stints in the 2022/23 season. The 38-year-old frequently protested and refused to participate in the match due to his disapproval of Ten Hag’s decisions. On this note, Arturo Vidal raised questions about the choices made by the United manager.

The ex-Barca star struggled to grasp the Dutchman’s stance regarding Ronaldo despite his emphatic performances. Vidal said in an interview, “That coach came in badly. How are you going to take out Cristiano Ronaldo? That’s how these guys are. He was the scorer and he takes him out. The bald guys are very complicated”.

When Cristiano Ronaldo shared his frustration in Piers Morgan’s show

CR7 had had enough with Manchester United in his second spell. Ronaldo’s unwavering determination played a strong role in backing himself during the unsuccessful transfer to the Red Devils. He was dissatisfied when the club officials disregarded his efforts both in training sessions and on the pitch by the club. Consequently, the Los Blancos legend lashed out at the club as well as the manager during his appearance at Piers Morgan’s show.

The United coach did not want him on the team as reflected by his attitude towards the Portuguese maestro. Thereby, CR7 quoted in Morgan’s interview, “I don’t have respect for him [Ten Hag] because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you. I felt betrayed. I feel that some people didn’t want me here, not only this year but last season too”.
