One of the major sponsors of Neymar Jr. finds itself in a conundrum. After being banned by the $45 billion worth platform, Twitch, where he boasts over 2.4 million followers, the PSG superstar still keeps endorsing what got him banned in the first place. This intriguing update comes amid the Brazilian entangled in rumors of an exit from Paris.
Keeping in view the potential harm to the Twitch community, the social platform decided to ban betting sites. It also stops its users from sharing referral codes with their followers. The new policy change saw Blaze.com banned from Twitch, which is a crucial endorser of Neymar Jr. However, the Twitch ban hasn’t affected the Brazilian, as he continues to endorse the gambling site on other social media sites.

The Brazilian, an esports and gambling enthusiast, inked a four-year deal with Blaze. The platform announced the multi-million deal after FIFA Men’s World Cup 2022. The bookmaker company focuses on crash games and online casinos. And with Neymar boasting over 211 million followers currently, they made him a global ambassador promoting the platform globally except Brazil.
The platform intends to make use of Neymar’s reach and promote it through the social media handle of the PSG star. As a part of the partnership, Neymar often conducts social media interactions with his followers apart from exposure. The finances of the deal aren’t known yet, but it seems the former Santos star will pocket millions over the next four years. However, now the PSG superstar can’t promote the brand over Twitch. Despite doing significantly well on the endorsement side, Neymar is unsure of his future club.

Where will the Brazilian end?
Reports from France claim Neymar communicated to PSG his desire to leave the club. Moreover, both parties are looking to settle the situation quickly, with the transfer window nearing its end. The Brazilian is linked with a return to his former club FC Barcelona. But there’s a difference in opinion between Joan Laporta and Xavi over his signing.
Laporta feels the PSG superstar will be an enormous addition. On the contrary, Xavi thinks he could be the reason for disharmony in the dressing room. Apart from Barcelona, Chelsea, Saudi clubs, and MLS clubs also remain a possibility for the Santos prodigy.
