In the world of modern soccer, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland have solidified themselves as two of the most prominent names. Mbappe’s exceptional performances for Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team have earned him the reputation of being one of the best players of his generation. Similarly, Haaland’s extraordinary debut season with Manchester City has thrust him into the race for the prestigious Ballon d’Or award. But what if these two were to clash but on a different kind of stage?

The recent times have been particularly eventful for both Mbappe and Haaland. Mbappe’s potential move to Real Madrid hit a roadblock when the Spanish giants surprisingly closed their doors on signing the Frenchman. Meanwhile, Haaland made headlines by officially partnering with Prime, a hydration brand owned by Logan Paul and KSI. It was in the aftermath of these developments that Haaland was confronted with a rather unexpected question.

The Manchester City striker recently made an appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast “Impaulsive”. Here, Haaland, KSI, and Paul discussed about Prime, among other topics related to the striker’s life. The conversation naturally turned towards the trash talk that often takes place between players on the soccer pitch.

Building on this subject, Paul’s friend and co-host, Mike Majlak, posed an intriguing question about whether this trash talk ever leads to settling differences through boxing in the ring. He even dropped Mbappe’s name, prompting Haaland to respond. The Norwegian, shared his thoughts on the matter, disclosing that he is not particularly interested in fighting.

“No, I’m not really into fighting, to be honest,” Haaland stated on the podcast. “I prefer just to speak. So no, not really into fighting and do that kind of things though”.  The striker further added, “I like a bit of s**t-talking, of course. But I don’t fight”.

While the prospect of a boxing match between two of soccer’s biggest names may have been enticing to some, Haaland made it clear that he has no interest in pursuing such an avenue.

As for Kylian Mbappe, his thoughts on a potential boxing match with Haaland remain undisclosed. Given his recent saga filled with Ups and down in the transfer market, it is likely that the Frenchman is primarily focused on his soccer future.

Ancelotti declared, “We will not sign any other player, it’s 100% over. Our squad has been closed and so it’s finished”. This decision may be attributed to Ancelotti’s confidence in the current squad or the high price tag of $270 million set by PSG for Mbappe’s purchase. Real Madrid maybe potentially waiting for next season when he will become a free agent.
