Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds was on cloud nine with his side bagging a crucial win in their latest encounter. The Red Dragons obtained a 1-0 win over Shrewsbury Town in the 3rd round of the FA Cup to proceed further into the tournament. Ryan could not contain his excitement following the game as he took to social media to congratulate his side by channeling his inner Deadpool.

Wrexham seemed to have a tough time against their opponents, with both teams unable to break the deadlock during the first half of the contest. However, Thomas O’Connor provided his team with the winner as the Irishman bagged a stunning goal in the 72nd minute of the contest to take his team past the finish line.

The Deadpool star was brimming with joy following his team’s win as he took to social media to pen a six-word message for his team. Ryan in his Instagram story tagged his team’s win stating, “Into the fourth round we go!” alongside a Deadpool sticker showing his appreciation towards the FA Cup title. Ryan also re-shared Hugh Jackman’s post, with the Hollywood star seen alongside his Deadpool 3 co-star.

This is not the first time Hugh Jackman has been seen watching Wrexham’s fixtures alongside Ryan Reynolds. The Wolverine fame star visited the Racecourse Ground last year to catch his friend’s team in action.

Wrexham has been in sublime form this season. The side has been on a roll when it comes to League Two and stands among the favorites to secure a promotion to League One at the end of the season.

Wrexham eyeing to topple Stockport at the top of the table

Phil Parkinson and his men have an enormous opportunity on their hands in their coming games. The side is currently placed second in the League Two points table with 49 points from 25 games. The team is just two points behind table-toppers Stockport who have 51 points to their name from 26 games.

This will surely be a big achievement for the Welsh side who were recently promoted to the league this season.
