While Man City might have hit the jackpot, Real Madrid might just regret their decision to ignore the Norwegian in favor of the Frenchman, Kylian Mbappe.

Real Madrid has been interested in the former Borussia Dortmund striker for the last few seasons. They have been looking for long term replacements for the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale. While they might have completed their rebuild, they are still looking for a world class striker. That striker could have been Haaland but Real Madrid had someone else in their plans.
