Shortly after scoring his 54th goal, 2023’s top-scorer flew to his home in Madeira, Portugal, for his mother’s birthday party. And, he went home with a gift, that too a stylish, and an expensive one. Overwhelmed with joy, a welled-up Dolores Aveiro hugged her grandson Cristiano Ronaldo Jr!

Dolores Aveiro did not expect this big of a birthday present from Cristiano Ronaldo!

On Dolores’ 69th birthday, grandson Cristiano Jr took her to the garage to give her a surprise. A brand new black Porsche Cayenne SUV awaited the 69-year-old! Startled at her son’s loving yet extravagant gesture, Dolores shed tears of joy. She, along with her grandson, went around the luxury vehicle to get a detailed view. After sharing a warm hug with Cristiano Jr, the happy and excited grandmother stepped into the driver’s seat. Dolores had her eyes still welled up while going to the party. “Don’t cry, it will ruin your makeup,” Cristiano Ronaldo told his mother, having fun at the jocund occasion.

Dolores Aveiro’s emotions resonated with mirth and pride. It is indeed the proudest moment to see her son reach such heights and give back to the person who raised him to be the man he is. She shared pictures and also posted a snippet of Dolores seeing the car for the first time. “If she is happy, it is because her son remembers her and not because of the value of the gift. Honor your father and your mother and your days on earth will be long,” she wrote on the Instagram story.
