Renowned soccer journalist Fabrizio Romano recently sat down in an interview to talk about the 31-year-old’s situation. “What I always been told is that at the moment there is absolutely nothing guaranteed in terms of Casemiro’s exit for the January window,” assured Romano.

He further clarified that there are no negotiations but also added, “Of course, in case they receive a very important proposal, maybe from Saudi this could change, but at the moment there are no negotiations at all between Casemiro and any Saudi club, not even with Paris Saint-Germain.” The journalist then gave an update that may come as a disappointment to fans hoping for the Cristiano Ronaldo-Casemiro reunion.

Romano indicated that the defensive-midfielder remains a crucial player for Erik ten Hag. He mentioned, “The relationship between them is still good.” This suggests that Manchester United is in no hurry to part ways with the midfielder. While Casemiro’s move still is uncertain, there is another player and former teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo that Al Nassr has set their sights on.
