The Portuguese sensation Joao Felix helped FC Barcelona win its La Liga game against his main team, Atletico Madrid. The forward is on a loan from the Madrid club to Barcelona until June 2024, but the star still showed up against his parent club as he is not cup-tied. But his match-winning performance brought back his comment from 2019, “Cristiano Ronaldo is my idol. He is an example for me in everything. Cristiano has been the best in the world since my childhood.”

The 24-year-old celebrated the goal with two hands raised above his shoulder, which fans think is an emulation of Cristiano. Even though it’s not Siu, Ronaldo used that sort of celebration earlier. There was a lot of talk before the match that Felix would not celebrate after scoring the goal. But the star’s not-so-good relationship with the club allowed him to decline any inhibitions.

The Madrid team beat the toppers, Real Madrid, but this loss could hurt their chances of winning the league this year. Considering the dominance of Los Blancos and the Blaugrana, each loss can matter at this stage for all the teams.

Watching the Premier League where Thierry Henry-starring ‘Invincible’ Gunners and Sir Alex Ferguson’s glorious Manchester United had ruled, I had my heart set on Arsenal. However, Ronaldo Nazario, Rivaldo, and Ronaldinho are my favorite players and Lionel Messi is the GOAT.
