Al Nassr ended 2023 on a high with a convincing 4-1 win against Al-Taawoun. The entire team is currently in brilliant form as they have won 15 out of their 19 games this season. But, there has been criticism also on the other side. While Cristiano Ronaldo thanked the fans for the year, Laporte has blasted the criticism against the team.

Cristiano Ronaldo-led team has also made sure to thank fans after winning the matches. At the end of several matches, the team displayed a Viking clap celebration with the fans to create a sense of unity.

Speaking after the 4-1 win against Al-Taawoun, he said,” I think some fans don’t like anything. Since I arrived, Al-Nasr has won all its matches for four months and we lost one match. I’m not saying they don’t have the right to criticize, on the contrary, we want to hear that from them, but I think there is exaggeration sometimes. This team is great and we will continue.”
