Al Nassr wants to leave no box unchecked to get their hands on the Saudi Pro League title. The side is currently seven points behind Al Hilal in the league standings and is planning to bring reinforcements to launch a challenge for the trophy. According to reports, the side has been linked with Cristiano Ronaldo‘s ex-Real Madrid teammate Isco. Al Nassr higher-ups are interested in a move for the player and could lodge an official bid in the coming days.

Isco, following his time with Los Blancos, is currently plying his trade for Real Betis. The Spaniard is 31 and has a lot to offer. His addition could provide Al Nassr with added strength in the midfield while also using the player as an attacking option. If the side fails to get their hands on the midfielder, Al Nassr could turn their focus to Manchester United’s Casemiro, with the side keen on signing the Brazilian.

A move to Saudi Arabia could be good for Isco, with the player no longer in contention to make a way into Luis de la Fuente’s Spanish national team. Al Nassr will also benefit from a move as the midfielder will provide additional depth to their midfield and could form a deadly pair alongside Marcelo Brozovic. According to reports, “Al Nassr makes an offer for Isco before the close of the winter transfer period.”

Isco and Cristiano Ronaldo share a significant history. The duo spent together at Real Madrid and formed a great partnership during their time at Santiago Bernabeu. Cristiano has reportedly given his green light to the move and wants to see the Spaniard join Al Nassr. However, with time running out, Al Nassr will have to be quick to strike a deal with Real Betis.
