During the last January transfer window, Al Nassr made headlines by securing Cristiano Ronaldo, despite initial doubts due to his age. Yet, beyond his playing abilities, Al Nassr had a strategic vision: leveraging Ronaldo’s off-field influence. His signing aimed to amplify the Knights of Najd’s social media following, evident as Al Nassr’s social media presence flourishes. Most of the credit goes to CR7! His multifaceted value to the club extends far beyond the pitch, reflecting on their growing popularity across various platforms.

Al Nassr experienced a staggering 534% surge in its social media following, remarkably gaining 27 million new followers. In contrast, Manchester United’s growth was far more modest, with only a 6% increase and 13.1 million new followers. This stark discrepancy signifies that Ronaldo’s current club amassed double the followers compared to his former team, showcasing the immense impact of his presence on Al Nassr’s social media presence.
