The video of Al Hilal fans chanting the name of Lionel Messi against Ronaldo became the headline on social media. Cristiano Ronaldo did not react much as he clapped back and gave flying kisses. However, the Al Hilal fans had the last laugh as their team won 3-0. This did not stop the sister of the Al Nassr star from giving it back to the trolls. She shared a video edit on Instagram that showed the children of Lionel Messi celebrating a goal. This video was merged with the famous goal of the Portuguese for Real Madrid in the 2013 Copa Del Rey semi-final second-leg game.

This is not the first time Elma Aveiro has praised his brother and trolled Lionel Messi. She had also praised the Portuguese star for defeating Lionel Messi’s Barcelona with Juventus. The Portuguese star also scored a hat-trick in the game. She also posted a picture of his brother with his five Ballon d’Or trophies with the caption “Earned, not given.” Elma shared this photo after Messi won his 8th Ballon d’Or. Hence, it is clear who she was aiming this at.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr looked unlucky with the decisions from the VAR

The Portuguese star had his issues with the VAR technology. Multiple decisions could have gone the way of Al Nassr. However, they went in favor of Al Hilal. The decision to not give a penalty because of the tackle by goalkeeper Yassine Bounou 0n Ronaldo was one of those. Whereas, the other one was the 38-year-old’s goal getting ruled out.
