Former Barcelona player, Dani Alves was recently granted bail after being found guilty of rape. Having been arrested in January 2023, Alves was released after the bail amount of over $1 million was paid on his behalf. Contrary to earlier rumors, Neymar Jr’s father denied paying this bail amount. Rather, it was reportedly Memphis Depay, with whom Alves shared the locker room in FC Barcelona in the 2021/22 season, who paid the lump sum. Per the latest reports, the fullback seems to be in the news again for throwing a party after being released.

TyC Sports reported that following dinner at a restaurant, there was a party at Dani Alves’s house in Spain. The celebrations lasted until 5 am and there were even guests in hoodies. The occasion was the birthday celebration of the soccer star’s father, Domingos Alves Da Silva. The event was actually predicted in the ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’ show. Notably, Dani Alves’ brother Ney was absent as he was on a trip to Barcelona.

While Dani Alves has got a reprieve from his four-and-a-half-year sentence, thanks to the $1.08 million payment, it doesn’t give him absolute freedom. In fact, per reports, there are some strict provisions under which the full-back has been granted bail. Let’s see what they are.

3 conditions that are now applicable after Dani Alves’s bail

Cannot leave Spain

Reportedly, the court has imposed restrictions on Dani Alves’ traveling privileges. As per this condition, he had to hand over his Brazilian and Spanish passports. This means that he won’t be able to visit his native country Brazil or even leave his current place, Spain.

Another critical requirement is that the soccer star should turn up at the court every week. Also, Alves must be available anytime the court summons him. Sources suggested that he is ready to cooperate with the condition.

Cannot approach the victim

The final clause states that Dani Alves should not try to contact the victim or even go near her vicinity. Reports also state that he cannot be within a kilometer radius of the victim, be it her workplace, home, or other places that she visits frequently.
