Manchester City were jubilant after they won the FIFA Club World Cup against Fluminense. Maria Guardiola, the daughter of Pep Guardiola was elated after her father won yet another trophy for the Premier League giants. She sent an emphatic five-word message to her father on social media congratulating him on the achievement.

The Spanish manager would have no doubt received plenty of congratulatory messages after the triumph. However, a message from his daughter will certainly hold a special place in his heart. Especially considering her incredibly flattering declaration that may raise eyebrows from some in the soccer community.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola led the team to yet another trophy in his stint. They beat Fluminense 4-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup final in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. After the win, the families of the team also came to the pitch to celebrate. Pep Guardiola’s daughter Maria was also a part of the celebrations. She even posted a five-word message for her father on Instagram. She wrote, “Best to ever do it”. The caption was attached to the photo of the Spanish manager with the trophy.

This is not the first time Maria Guardiola has been part of the celebrations. She was also there during the Premier League trophy celebrations last year. Maria has a huge following of  856,000 followers on Instagram. Maria’s message to Pep is also an answer to the critics who have been critical of City’s uncharacteristically poor form in the Premier League.

Manchester City have got into the great habit of winning multiple titles under the Spanish tactician in his seven-year spell. There are trophies that he has won multiple times with different clubs in his managerial career. The case is no different with the FIFA Club World Cup. With the win against Fluminense, this was his fourth trophy of the competition.

This fourth trophy is the most any manager has won in the manager. He was tied with current Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti on 3 trophies before the game. The club also under him became the first Premier League team to win five trophies in one calendar year.
