“[David] Beckham There Lapping It All” – Ex-Manchester United Star Reveals ‘Horrible’ and Nightmarish Initiation in Front of Soccer Legends

One of the former players of Manchester United has recently revealed an old tradition the veteran players of the club had back in the day. It was for the initiation of young talent who were making the switch to the senior team. The star detailing his initiation was Daniel Nardiello, who recently revealed his own nightmarish experience that happened in front of David Beckham.

Back in the day, Manchester United had megastars like David Beckham, Ryan Giggs and Roy Keane. These statements came on a podcast when Nardiello was discussing his career. After making his move to the famed halls of the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ as a 16-year-old from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nardiello started his senior career under the guidance of the legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson. However, he failed to make a significant impact on the Red Devils’ first team, playing just four matches for the Salford-based team.

Shocking initiation ritual in front of David Beckham

Nardiello divulged how, as part of the initiation, he had to make love to an imaginary woman on a table. Nardiello revealed how he was asked questions that made him awkward. He wasn’t the only one who had to go through it, as several youngsters who came through the ranks at Old Trafford had done it.

In the podcast Under the Cosh, he said, “Mine was I had to make love to a [pretend] woman on the table. A few of us had to do that. You had to describe the girl. It was horrible. Is she blonde, brunette, is she busty, is she not? How are you doing it? What are you saying to her? [I was] bright red, it was horrible.”

Nardiello continued saying, “These are the superstars as well. It was [Ryan] Giggs and David May the main guys in there but you can see Keane and Beckham there just lapping it all in and you’re like, ‘Oh my God, I’ve got to make love to a girl in front of all these guys’.” While Nardiello did make his debut for Manchester United in the League Cup and the UCL, he never got a chance to play in the Premier League, as he was mostly out on loans to other clubs.
