These last few months haven’t been the easiest for Hiba Abouk. Her breakup with the Paris Saint-Germain fullback has caused a severe uproar on social media. Yesterday, the actress made a Shakira reference. She posted quite a few candid images of herself with her young kids. In addition to the heartwarming images, she wrote, “Family first” and flooded the rest of the space with a range of hearts of different colors. Soon after that, she reposted the same thing on an Instagram story.

Interestingly, she chose to play Acrostico as background music for that story. Without a doubt, the choice of the music track has raised quite a few eyebrows on social media. However, it seemed like the perfect reference to make. That is simply because the Colombian icon dedicated that song to her kids.

Amid Hiba Abouk’s surprise reference, the Waka–Waka singer has recently received quite a bit of hate on social media.

Similar to Abouk, even Shakira claimed custody of her kids when she parted ways with Pique. After achieving their custody, she managed to agree on certain visiting terms with the soccer veteran in a separation agreement. While Gerard Pique still pays for half of his kid’s expenses, he can only meet them for a stipulated amount of time every month.

While the singer dedicated her latest song to her children, Milan and Sasha also made their musical debut in Acrostico. Reportedly, she didn’t bother to ask their father for his opinion on the same. An angered Gerard Pique might just take that extra-legal step to put an end to Shakira’s antics. Despite all of that, the jury is still out there on whether Shakira will continue to diss Gerard Pique through her music.
