Until now, the plan had been postponed due to her parents’ health situation. Last year, her father, William Mebarak suffered a fall that caused head trauma, requiring him to undergo surgery. Unfortunately, just a few weeks after his operation, Shakira’s mother, Nidia Ripoll also had to be hospitalized. Due to a blood clot, she had to be taken to the hospital and promptly received medical attention.

Unfortunately, these medical emergencies forced Shakira to stay in Barcelona, putting her relocation plans on hold. Now it seems that Shakira is finally ready to begin her transition and relocate to the US. According to reports, Shakira is expected to arrive in the US within the coming week. And will take up residence in her 20,726 square feet mansion in Miami.
