After a long standstill that saw Real Madrid ditch Kylian Mbappe, PSG has finally reinstated the star back in their squad. While the negotiation between the two sides is far from over, the French side will now be looking to put their focus on the ongoing campaign. Although Kylian Mbappe has been restored back into the squad, the same cannot be said for one of his teammates.

Following the departures of Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr., PSG has put their focus on revamping their squad. The team under their new manager, Luis Enrique, has put the focus on youth with some notable names missing out on the team sheet. However, one name from the list comes off a big surprise with Enrique not willing to try the player out, with hopes that the player can be offloaded to Saudi Arabia before the transfer window closes.

Italian defensive midfielder Marco Verratti has been a key player for PSG for the past few years. The Italian international has made some notable contributions for the side and has been essential in their holding play. However, it seems like the player might be done with the club as new boss Luis Enrique seems to be disinterested in the player’s services.

The 30-year-old has been sidelined from the first team for the last three games. PSG, roped in Manuel Ugarte this summer, who has been Enrique’s first-choice CDM so far this season, and it appears like the manager had put his trust in the 22-year-old youngster while sidelining Verratti.

Based on multiple reports across French media, Verratti’s time could be coming to an end at the French capital. Meanwhile, star player Kylian Mbappe has been added back to the squad, after Real Madrid made it clear that they will not be making any more transfers this summer.
