The main stumbling block for most upcoming athletes has always been money. To get better training and facilities, they need to pay more. Many business owners and foundations have started scholarship programs to solve such financial issues. One such scholarship started in Singapore in 2020, and Cristiano Ronaldo has been a proud supporter of it for the last ten years.

In 2010, Peter Lim, who owns the La Liga club Valencia, started the scholarship with the help of the Singapore Olympic Foundation. He pledged a $10 million fund for the Peter Lim Scholarship. To continue supporting the upcoming talents, Lim again donated $10 million in 2019 to keep the scholarship going from 2021 to 2030.

Ronaldo made his feelings clear on social media after receiving the award. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner wrote, “Very proud to have supported the Singapore Olympic Foundation Peter Lim Scholarship for the past 10 years. They are doing fantastic work in youth development and creating opportunities for young people most in need. Let’s continue the good work.”
The Portuguese recently purchased a plane worth over $60 million. The Portuguese media VIP reported the purchase. It comes with a capacity of 18 seats and is an upgrade over the last plane with a ten-seat. The plane comes with a wardrobe, beds, and an entertainment system, among other necessities. One of the anchors jokingly said when the family grows, people change cars, but Ronaldo changes planes.

Ronaldo was left frustrated
Al Nassr FC is fighting a massive title race in the Saudi Pro League against Al-Ittihad. In the recent game, though, the Portuguese came out frustrated. After a thumping victory over Al-Adalah, Al Feiha held them in a frustrating draw. They lost two points in the tight title race. It left the Portuguese frustrated after the game.
Ronaldo will try to inspire the club in a massive league game against Al Hilal. Al Hilal is fourth on the table and is seven points behind second-placed Al Nassr. Al Nassr last won the league in the 2018-19 season and would hope to get their hands on the trophy, especially after the blockbuster signing of Ronaldo.
