It revealed in the latest financial statement that the club lost an unfathomable 3.5 million USD in the last couple of years under the new owners’ regime. It has caused panic among a few Wrexham fans. Meanwhile, a statement has come from the directors of the club.

Apart from assuring that they are putting ‘no immediate pressure’ on the club, the owners said, “We remain committed to playing a full part in the club’s life and making a positive difference, in every way, for the benefit of everyone in this wonderful place we have taken to our hearts.” This statement is enough to reflect the connection the star owners have with the club.

In 2021, the Deadpool star and the creator of ‘its always sunny in Philadelphia’ invested 2.5 million USD to acquire Wrexham, and the club now has a vast following. They had said that they are ready to lose money on Wrexham when they brought the club.
