In the last few months, Gerard Pique has been in the news for his unique soccer venture. The inaugural season of the Kings League had quite a few memorable moments. In fact, Pique arranged to have the tournament’s ‘final four’ at Camp Nou. After an extremely profitable first season, the soccer veteran decided to start a Queens League too. Into season two, the Kings League is reaching new heights.

Already, the league has announced the signing of two major soccer stars. Some weeks ago, the league welcome a UEFA Champions League winner with Liverpool. However, they’ve just introduced one of the best Italian soccer players to ever exist.

Without a doubt, the Kings League is truly one of a kind. The unique soccer league has a healthy mix of current soccer players and retired ones as well. Some of the well-known names as players in the league are Joan Verdu, Alberto Bueno, Capdevila, Ibai Gomez, and many more. Apart from the local Spanish veterans, there have also been global soccer legends that played in the Kings League.

Sergio Aguero, Casillas, and Ronaldinho are some of the names on the list. However, Jijantes FC recently welcomed Andrea Pirlo, a well-established retired legend of the sport. This individual won the FIFA World Cup with Italy during his prime. He has also won the UEFA Champions League with Milan twice.

Pirlo will play for a single week during matchday five of the competition. Jijantes FC will register him as the #14 name on their roster. The President of the club, Gerard Romero matched the final bid and got hold of the soccer legend at the very last moment. Currently, coaching a Turkish club, Pirlo would definitely be happy enough to grace the Kings League with his presence in the midfield.

Just weeks ago, another team in the Kings League welcomed another soccer veteran. It is safe to say Pique and Llanos’ unique soccer investment is gaining severe popularity through these cameos.

Earlier this month, Los Troncos FC unveiled the signing of a prestigious retired soccer legend. During his prime, he won the UEFA Champions League with Liverpool. However, the French forward retired from the game in 2021. Los Troncos FC announced the major signing of none other than Djibril Cisse. The retired soccer star would play in the league for a single week too.

Also, they announced his signing in quite a unique way. In the video, Cisse was engrossed with his braids. He had sported the evergreen jersey of the club too. Pique himself welcomed the French soccer veteran to the league. He wrote, “Djibril Cisse is coming in the @KingsLeague!”. Without a doubt, this league has started to garner an international presence in no time!
