The 2022 FIFA World Cup is just around the corner with 32 teams ready to fight it out for the biggest soccer prize. The build-up to the soccer mega-event has been incredible with so much hype around it. Nike has produced arguably some of the greatest adverts when it comes to sports. The ‘Just Do It’ and the ‘Winner Stays’ adverts still captivate soccer fans today. They recently released an advert for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar featuring some of the best superstars such as Ronaldinho, Kylian Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo, Alex Morgan, and Sam Kerr among others.
The Nike advert went viral on social media thanks to its insane graphics and the idea of the metaverse. However, some fans didn’t like the promo, particularly due to the inclusion of women players.

It’s hard for anyone to not follow the FIFA World Cup, which will feature some of the world’s best soccer players. Teams have already started to arrive in Qatar for the upcoming WC, which starts on 20 November. Nike’s promo featured a star-studded soccer meta-verse featuring stars from both the men’s and women’s games. It also featured a small cameo from Gouenji Shuuya of the Japanese animation series ‘Inazuma Eleven’.
The video advert from Nike could possibly be the best fans have seen in some time. However, it seemingly didn’t impress some fans due to the inclusion of women’s soccer stars such as Alex Morgan, Leah Williamson, Sam Kerr, and Carli Lloyd.

Nike’s advert for the 2022 FIFA World Cup is arguably nothing short of a masterpiece, receiving much admiration from soccer fans online. However, a set of fans were not pleased with the video, particularly because it was for the build-up to the 2022 Men’s World Cup and featured women’s stars.

In the ad, Alex Morgan was seen scoring a goal, followed by her tea-sipping celebration. Leah Williamson, Carli Lloyd, and Sam Kerr also had small cameos in the advert. Many fans, however, loved the inclusion of women soccer stars in the video.
Alex Morgan sent an inspiring message to USMNT for the FIFA WC
The USMNT already reached Qatar earlier this week. They will face Wales in their WC opener. Alex Morgan recently sent an inspiring message to the men’s team for the WC.
“Let’s do this!!!” she wrote on Twitter.

The two-time World Cup winner has already proved her mettle in the women’s edition of the tournament. However, the nation will be expecting the same from their men’s side in Qatar.
