Some records are meant to be broken. However, Erling Haaland seems to be in a higher mood. The Manchester City superstar is zooming through some of the best records in soccer. The Norwegian striker delivered a masterclass against Wolves in his last outing bashing 4 goals to help his team secure a 5-1 win. While this might be a regular occurrence for the player, his goal-scoring exploits have seen him level one of Lionel Messi‘s elite achievements.

La Pulga is a goal-scoring machine. The Argentine superstar has proved his mettle on 7 occasions, bagging 4 or more goals for his team throughout his career. Well, it seems like Erling Haaland is already on the record, with the striker reaching the milestone in less than half the games needed by Lionel Messi. While this is an enormous achievement, the player has the chance to surpass Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored over 4 goals on 11 occasions.

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland will be pleased with his performance as Manchester City walks one step closer to the Premier League title.
