Amid the rumors of him leaving, ex-Premier League boss Jesse Marsch has revealed the best move for him in a podcast.

He said, “If he is listening to the show If he is listening to what I think Real Sociedad would be an amazing spot for him. I think that would be perfect. I think they would get a lot out of him. Their coach is fantastic. They play great football and they have a great team. I think it would be the best thing for him.”

Jesse Marsch recommending the name of Real Sociedad does not come as a surprise. According to reports, Gio Reyna has signed with the famous agent Jorge Mendes to get him a move. As soon as he signed the agreement with Mendes, the Spanish media linked him with a move to the La Liga side. However, Real Sociedad wants to sign him on loan.

The club is sixth in the La Liga table and will face Paris Saint Germain in the next round of the Champions League. But, as far as Reyna is concerned, along with Marsch, another pundit has also urged him to leave the German giants.

Pundit claims the USA international does not have a future with Borussia Dortmund

Renowned pundit Julien Laurens wants Reyna to get out as fast as possible out of Dortmund. He has said that the 21-year-old is wasting his time with Borussia Dortmund. The French journalist further said that Gio has a bright future ahead of him. Hence, he should consider other options to move on.

It will be interesting to understand what conditions Dortmund demands for the USA international. The contract of the attacking midfielder expires in 2025. Hence, this is one of the last opportunities for the German giants to recoup a substantial fee.
