In the last few months, Shakira has reignited her music career by dissing Gerard Pique. After breaking up with the FC Barcelona legend, the fans believed that she would fade away from the limelight. But she didn’t let that happen at all. She created back-to-back diss tracks against her ex and went viral. Recently, a popular television presenter gave her a peculiar piece of advice.
Currently, the singer is facing a potential eight-year jail term for major tax fraud. While she claims her innocence, the date of the trial in court will be out very soon.

Shakira is advised to take similar steps on the Treasury as she did with Pique!
The person to give Shakira advice is Susanna Griso. The television presenter recently spoke about how the Latin American singer should react to her tax fraud allegations. Without a doubt, Griso’s advice has raised several eyebrows on social media. She has publicly advised the Waka–Waka singer to do the same as she did to her ex-boyfriend.
Simply, she has asked her to compose a diss track on the Spanish treasury and court. Surprisingly, she said, “If he releases a song against the treasury, he would have more support than with the one he has done to Pique.” Griso confidently claims that she would have the support of the fanbase. But is creating a diss track on a legal entity a safe option?

She continued, “That the music industry is in Miami much more than in Spain, yes. That for the Latin market Miami is better base than Barcelona, undoubtedly, but it does not invoice the same in Spain as in Greece or Turkey,” as compiled by Mundo Deportivo and translated by Google Translate. As of now, the Waka–Waka signer is still only concentrating on her ex-boyfriend.

But why and how is Shakira entangled in such a massive tax fraud case? Let’s dive deeper.
All about Shakira’s tax fraud lawsuit
Months after announcing her breakup with Gerard Pique, the Colombian icon found a legal notice at her doorstep. The Spanish authorities accused her of not paying taxes from 2012 to 2014. The estimated value of the tax fraud is reportedly $15.9 million. Shakira’s basic claim would be that she hadn’t spent enough days in the country to be liable to pay tax.

In a recent interview, she called the legal proceedings ‘unfair and surreal’. While Shakira is quite confident about her innocence, an unfortunate loss in court will send her to jail for eight years. Reportedly, she will present herself in court on November 20. Will this legal hassle impact her music career in any way? Doesn’t look likely as of now.
