Brawls are not uncommon in soccer. Only a couple of months ago, soccer fans had witnessed the monstrosity of a game that was Argentina vs the Netherlands in Qatar WC. The referee had to dish out a FIFA record 16 yellow cards in a single match. However, this recent incident is more about the outrage the play has caused in the soccer community.

The incident is from the Scottish cup. In the 5th round, Ranges faced off Partick Thistle. The match was going smoothly, and it was a 1 goal each draw. However, in the 70th minute, something crazy happened that turned not only the scoreboard but the community, too. Here are a few reactions from the fans.

The ball was out of bounds and had been brought in by a Thistle player. However, in the middle of some confusion, USMNT and Rangers star Malik Tillman got control of the ball and put it in the post. The barrage of defense came to him, pushing him to the ground. As the referee handed a yellow card, the crowd was shocked, as they had no idea what was going on. The goal was allowed, but they made a very uncomfortable compromise.
