Imagine refusing the chance to sign Kylian Mbappe! It seems like the biggest mistake one could make. Well, Manchester United‘s new owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is keen on doing just that. However, contrary to what you’d believe, the INEOS owner isn’t doing this on a whim, but as a part of a planned strategy! The Frenchman’s massive stature and financial valuation have ensured he isn’t a regular cup of coffee you’d get at a gas station. Mbappe is arguably the best player in the world and thus deserves every cent he’s worth.

To add more to the competition, Real Madrid seems hellbent on securing the player’s signatures and is willing to move heaven and earth to bring the Frenchman to Santiago Bernabeu. With Manchester United likely to miss out on the player even if they tried, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has simply washed his hands from the one-horse race and plans to build a new superstar of his own. Someone who he believes can be the next Kylian Mbappe! So who are they?

1. Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United)

In his quest to find the next Kylian Mbappe, it doesn’t seem like Sir Jim Ratcliffe needs to scour the planet. Manchester United already has a bona fide young star at their hands. Argentine youngster Alejandro Garnacho has been tearing it apart for the Red Devils, ever since he broke into the first team. Rising from the team’s youth academy, the player has already established himself as one of the key players on the team. Garnacho has made 74 appearances for Manchester United and could be destined for greatness if he continues to display the form he has been doing so far.

2. Warren Zaïre-Emery (Paris Saint Germain)

The young PSG star has set the bar high for his future this season, making some memorable outings for the club. Despite playing in a different role when compared to Kylian Mbappe, Zaïre-Emery has the qualities needed to play up the field. The 18-year-old already has 9 goal contributions to his name this season and will look to add more to his tally in the remaining games of the season. Still poaching him away from PSG’s grasp is not going to be as simple as it sounds, with the club keen on holding down to the player for the coming years.

3. Evan Ferguson (Brighton & Hove Albion)

Anyone who has seen the Seagulls striker play knows he has what it takes to become one of the best strikers in the world. The young Irish lad has already made 64 appearances under Roberto de Zerbi, finding the back of the net on 16 occasions. While his numbers surely leave a lot to be desired, the 19-year-old can develop into one of the finest players in the coming years. However, securing his services from Brighton won’t be straightforward, with the English side slapping a $120 million price tag on their wonder kid.

4. Karim Adeyemi (Borussia Dortmund)

Borussia Dortmund has been known to produce some of the biggest talent in the world. Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland, and Robert Lewandowski have all risen through the ranks at the German club before taking the world by storm. It seems like the club has another talent for the future in their ranks with German striker Karim Adeyemi impressing everyone with his performances for the Yellow and Black. The 22-year-old has all the qualities to become a top star and could thrive under the bright lights of Old Trafford if given the chance. Considering Dortmund is interested in securing Jadon Sancho permanently, a player plus cash deal between the club seems like an adroit move!

5. Endrick (Real Madrid)

The last name we have on the list is Real Madrid-bound Endrick. The Brazilian wonder kid is amongst the highest-rated stars under the age of 18, with many expecting him to achieve big things in the future. Endrick has shown impressive skills so far in his brief career but will be put right into the fire at Real Madrid. If the player manages to live up to the billing, he could surely be the one to watch for!
