Vitinha, who has experienced firsthand the greatness of both Messi and Ronaldo, weighed in on the debate over who he would choose. Vitinha shares his stance on the GOAT debate

Vitinha had the gift of playing with both players and very few had that kind of opportunity. He considers himself honored to have such an experience. In a recent interview ahead of Euro 2024 qualifiers, he was asked to choose between the cliched red and blue pill, Ronaldo and Messi.

Unsurprisingly, the answer was neutral. Vitinha said both the players were extraordinary and loved playing with both. He said, “Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are two extraterrestrials. I’m privileged to have played with both of them. I’m going to tell my grandkids one day that I was able to play with both of them.”
