Saudi Pro League’s rise to worldwide fame has been a big distraction from European soccer for a while. Even though Brasileiro Serie A and Argentine Primera División have made a good impact, the effect the SPL is showing is overwhelming. Money may be the motivating factor, but players have cited it as a challenge. However, a star colleague of Neymar made another intense claim about the league.

Saudi Pro League has recently been recruiting top talents across Europe to enhance their performance and make them global competitors. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and Neymar’s Al Hilal can take the major credit. But after comparing Real Madrid with Al Hilal a few days ago, an Al Hilal player went a step ahead with his statement.

Aleksandar Mitrovic joined Al Hilal from Fulham after a $64 million deal last month. The forward has been a prominent part of Fulham’s squad but has now taken over responsibilities at Al Hilal. The forward carried the team in the absence of Neymar and established himself as their lead player. But recently, the player not only seemed to love his performance for the club but also appreciated the League calling it to be one of the best leagues in the future.

Mitrovic said, “This league has all things in the future to become one of the best league in the world. They have facilities, they have fans, and they have people who love football. And I think players will be more and more open to come. I think this is the future of football (soccer), in this country.”
