Dusan Vlahovic certainly hasn’t met any expectations. He was signed by Juventus during the 2021/22 season. With high potential, the fanbase was hopeful that he would lead the attacking line after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. However, things have not gone as per the ideal plan. Unfortunately, the Serbian icon cannot break through the rut of clocking in subpar and lackluster performances. On this note, a well-known journalist revealed the Italian side now plans to sell Vlahovic in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Florentina’s former striker recently marked 50 days without scoring a brace since against Lazio in September. Vlahovic has struggled to emulate the goal-scoring excellence he displayed at his former club, sparking concerns about his effectiveness. As a result, The Italian giant issued an ultimatum to the forward in order to enhance his gameplay in the upcoming fixtures.

After the departure of CR7, the Serbian star joined Juventus with a $74 million deal, bolstering their offensive prowess. The Italian giant’s strategy appeared to be in jeopardy following his underwhelming performances in consecutive years. Vlahovic played nine games and managed to score just four goals for the Old Lady this season. Consequently, Juventus will seek to offload the Serbian sensation if he fails to boost his contributions before the winter transfer window.

On this same topic, Marcello Chirico, the Italian journalist, said in an interview, “Vlahovic was supposed to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement. These were the expectations of Juventus, which expects much more from him. He hasn’t found the net for almost 50 days and since he has to return to scoring continuously, if he doesn’t Juventus will put him on the market as early as January for a reason.”
