France has qualified for the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup after a win over England. France opened the scoring through their star midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni in the first half of the game. Both sides went for half-time with a 1-0 score in the favor of France.

However, England pulled one back through Harry Kane in the 2nd half. France hit back once again through a thumping header from Olivier Giroud in the 78th minute of the game.

England captain Harry Kane had another opportunity in the final few mins to tie the game for the Three Lions. However, he missed his 2nd penalty as he went for power. But the ball went blazing high over the post. The game ended 2-1 in the favor of France.

On the other side, Croatia and Argentina will face each other in the semis.
