Ander Herrera, who shared the locker room with Lionel Messi at PSG, was asked about his thoughts on the ‘phenomenon of Messi in the US.’ The Spanish midfielder didn’t hold back his admiration for the Argentine soccer legend and stated the immense impact Messi has had on and off the field in the MLS.
Herrera revealed, “In Miami, at least in his club, he has already changed everything in terms of quality. He’s still one of the best in the world, and the way he behaves says how big Leo is. He’s always treating everyone the same way, from the one who looks after the kid to the one who washes the floor. I admire him so much because of how humble he is.”
