Jose Mourinho and Jurgen Klopp are both managers with a ‘Midas touch.’ Mourinho has stacked up 26 major trophies in his cabinet. Whereas, Klopp, who started late as a manager, has 11 titles to his credit. Well, being a shrewd manager is not just confined to winning titles. Such managers ought to have a flavor for acting theatrics. Even in that respect, other coaches would play second fiddle to Mourinho and Klopp. According to ESPN’s Frank Leboeuf, the acting skills of these two are so ‘professional‘ that ‘they wait for the camera to do the right thing!‘

In a recent ESPN FC episode, a fan asked Frank Leboeuf to rank the acting skills of Jose Mourinho, Jurgen Klopp, Louis van Gaal, and Mikel Arteta from Oscar-worthy to worst. “Mourinho is first, that’s for sure. He knows how to cry, he knows how to shout, he knows how to fight, he knows how to run as well,” said Leboeuf. Thereafter, he dismissed Van Gaal’s theatrics, branding them ‘fake’.

Besides, Leboeuf said Mikel Arteta overdoes acting, not knowing when to stop. “I like about Mourinho and Klopp is that they are very professional. They wait for the camera to do the right thing. You know, smile, cry, shout, insult… that’s very good, I love them,” he added. Soon co-host and Norway veteran Jan Aage Fjortoft recalled crossing paths with ‘The Special One’ during a press conference.
The Portuguese boss repeatedly asked Fjortoft what he thought about a particular refereeing decision in an AS Roma-Bodo/Glimt game. But Fjortoft calmed the ex-Roma boss down by saying people would love to hear his take instead. This is one of the many antics of the ‘Special One.’ Regarding such antics, Klopp is no outlier either.
