Hours After Gerard Pique Got ‘Kicked Out,’ Shakira Cheers on Lewis Hamilton’s Favorite Team Ahead Of Major Clash

The Gerard Pique and Shakira saga seems to keep dragging on as both celebrities take shots at each other. Shortly following Pique’s highly publicized business failure in tennis with the Davis Cup, the former Barcelona defender had another business setback surrounding his investment in Andorra FC. Now, his ex-wife Shakira has posted an Instagram story supporting alleged flame Lewis Hamilton’s favorite soccer team.

It’s no secret that British F1 icon Lewis Hamilton is an Arsenal fan. Now, amidst rumors that Shakira and Hamilton are dating, the Colombian pop star has added further fuel to the fire.

Shakira posts Instagram story supporting Lewis Hamilton’s team Arsenal

Taking to Instagram to post a story, Shakira shared a video from the Arsenal official account at the club’s home ground, the Emirates. The video showed a section of the crowd in celebration along with a caption that read: “Go @Arsenal” scrawled across the video.

However, whether this is a hint that Shakira is in fact dating F1 icon Lewis Hamilton remains unknown. Furthermore, whether she posted the story because Lewis Hamilton is an Arsenal fan, is also debatable. But both Shakira and Pique are known for making cryptic social media posts.

Shakira’s story comes just in time before Arsenal’s big clash against last season’s Premier League and treble-winning Manchester City side which is poised to take place tomorrow. Meanwhile, for Shakira’s ex-husband Gerard Pique, it has been one business failure after another.

Shakira’s ex-husband Gerard Pique suffers another financial loss

Pique’s investment in Spanish club Andorra FC situated on the island of Andorra also turned out to suffer losses. After an investment of approximately $4.24 million in the club’s stadium, Andorra FC were debarred from playing at their home stadium by La Liga officials.

Pique issued a statement on X even stating: “We have invested more than 4M euros in adapting the National Stadium so that La Liga let us play and now we are out”.

Pique broke arrangement with ex-wife Shakira

Pique recently also ditched spending time with children as per the agreement in place with his wife Shakira. Pique was supposed to spend time with his children in Miami. However, he soon returned to Barcelona after just 3 days. Reports suggested that perhaps the Andorra FC controversy was the reason that he couldn’t fulfill the obligations in his divorce agreement with his ex-partner Shakira.
