As per recent reports in the Saudi media, Al Nassr boss Luis Castro has made a great gesture to his squad, and also to Ronaldo.

Portgual play Slovakia later tonight in their Group J clash in the Euro 2024 qualifiers and Ronaldo has flown to be part of the Portuguese national team setup. But now, as the media in Saudi Arabia reports, his Al Nassr teammates are in for a short break from their rigorous training. They will watch the Saudi national team play Nigeria and also their captain’s upcoming Euro 2024 qualifier.

As per recent reports in the Saudi press, Al Nassr gaffer Luis Castro has allowed his squad to skip their training regime to watch Saudi Arabia take on Nigeria while their teammate Ronaldo captains Portugal against Slovakia.

As per this tweet on X, the report in the Saudi media states: Castro offers the team’s training time to give the players the opportunity to watch the national team’s match today.”

Meanwhile, Al Nassr’s commercial fortunes have continued to improve and hit new heights since their marquee signing Ronaldo moved to the club in early 2023. This has been further highlighted by the Portuguese captain’s jersey sales which hit a new record.
